Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into SpinCo, with a planned Q1 2027 launch. The Process Engineer role is located in Guadalajara, North Campus, and reports to the Process Engineering Manager.

The incumbent will oversee manufacturing operations on a shift or a group of production lines, ensuring volume, quality and cost goals are met while supporting new process introductions and ECOs. Collaboration with engineering and production teams is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge in Excel.
• Conversational English.
• Experience in Electronics Industry.
• Experience in NPI and Mass Production.
• IPC knowledge.
• Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes (SMT: Stencil design and reflow oven profile development, PTH: Wave solder pallet design).
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly fixture design.
• Personnel management.

Responsabilidades

• Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product.
• Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
• Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
• High level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues.
• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production.
• Raising and introduction of ECOs.
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters.
• Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies.
• Trouble shoot process related issues.
• Participate in cycle time and process improvements.
• Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
• Apply statistical process research on new and existing products.
• Implement safety, productivity and give‑in improvements.
• Improve manufacturing techniques and throughput.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Review processing methods.
• Interface with production for new process implementation and transfer.
• Assist in training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.
• Provide equipment maintenance and repair hold up as required.
• Guide cost improvement/reduction programs.
