Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner helping market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products. Located in Juarez Sur, the Process Engineer will report to the Operations Manager and be integral to transforming production processes.

The role focuses on equipment acquisition, process optimization, safety and quality improvements, while supporting audits and cross-functional teams in cost reduction and technology transfer.

Formación

• Bachelor Degree required.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Experience leading teams and training production personnel.
• Knowledge of Mold DFM and injection molding processes.
• Experience with audits and process improvements.
• Ability to support cost reduction initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production.
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible processes.
• Trouble shoot process related issues.
• Participate in cycle time and process improvements.
• Evaluate and select materials and machines to improve the process.
• Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products.
• Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements.
• Assist in customer service related countermeasures and analysis of complaints.
• Lead cost improvement/reduction programs.

Process Engineer located in Juarez Sur.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Process Engineer’s role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production.
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible processes.
• Trouble shoot process related issues.
• Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
• Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
• Evaluate and select semi automate and automate machines to improve the process.
• Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products.
• Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements.
• Experience in attention in audits.
• Experience with Customer Service and countermeasures and analysis of customer complaints.
• Knowledge of electromechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Experience in repair procedures
• Experience in molding injection processes.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Intermediate English.
• Bachelor Degree.
• Review processing methods.
• Experience working with teams.
• Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.
• Provide equipment maintenance and repair support as required.
• Knowledge in Mold DFM.
• Lead cost improvement/reduction programs.
