Job summary

CommScope is seeking an Engineer I, Process in a temporary six-month position in Delicias, Mexico. The role focuses on implementing and improving manufacturing processes, engineering changes, and creating procedures and work instructions to support productivity and quality improvements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electromechanical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar position (preferred).
• Lead in problem solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create, review and approve CMRs/CMOs to meet customer requirements.
• Approve TDAs for product/process deviations when required.
• Modify SAP routings as needed.
• Coordinate facilities modifications when requirements change.
• Set specifications and workflows in the maintenance module; support production on Tollgate.
• Update PFMEAs for products under responsibility.
• Create/modify engineering procedures and process flow charts.
• Create/modify works instructions per change.
• Update time studies to build products.
• Improve processes to reduce quality/cost issues.
• Resolve safety, quality, cost, delivery issues.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Develop and report on assigned projects; communicate results.
• Validate project results post-implementation.
• Deliver lines to production with validated products.
• Follow Safety, Health and Environment system requirements.
