Job summary

Flex in Guadalajara South is seeking a Process Engineer Automotive End-to-End to support teams that build great products. Reporting to the Director, Process Engineering, you will justify and implement capital equipment and oversee new process equipment to improve production performance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, advanced English, Six Sigma experience, and a track record of leading cost-improvement programs, training production staff, and collaborating with cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Six Sigma experience (green/black belt) preferred.
• Experience developing training and enabling production staff during tech transfers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production.
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible processes.
• Trouble shoot process related issues.
• Participate in cycle time and process improvement activities.
• Evaluate and select engineered materials.
• Evaluate and select semi-automated and automated machines.
• Implement statistical process analysis on products.
• Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements.
• Audit support and customer service countermeasures.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineer Automotive End-to End) located in Guadalajara South.

Reporting to the Director, Process Engineering , the Process Engineer’s role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production.
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible processes.
• Trouble shoot process related issues.
• Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
• Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
• Evaluate and select semi automate and automate machines to improve the process.
• Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products.
• Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements.
• Experience in attention in audits.
• Experience with Customer Service and countermeasures and analysis of customer complaints.
• Knowledge of electromechanical, pneumatic s and hydraulics.
• Desirable experience in automotive industry.
• Experience in NPI process.
