Panasonic seeks a Principal Engineer I to own the design integrity of display cases within the Core Portfolio. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure performance, testing, and regulatory compliance, and mentor engineers while collaborating with customers for guidance.

This role reports to the Chief Engineer – Core and Distributed Products and demands deep knowledge of refrigeration systems, product design, and project planning across large programs. Travel up to 25% is required.

Formación

• 10-15 years of directly related engineering experience in commercial refrigeration.
• Experience leading mechanical design projects adhering to department goals and standards.
• Strong analytical and commercially pragmatic approach for critical path analysis.
• Global mindset and collaboration across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic direction on product design and project planning.
• Lead cross-functional teams and mentor engineering project teams.
• Ensure design integrity and regulatory compliance across projects.
• Provide technical consultation to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Drive cost objectives and support large, multi-group projects.
