McDonald's Global Technology in Mexico City is seeking a Principal Engineer to own the transformation of our Point of Sale (POS) and Restaurant technologies. You will partner with Product Management and Architecture to execute the forward-looking vision and manage our 3rd party engineering vendors.

You will drive modern software solutions, improved customer experiences, and efficient operations while leading a team in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• Solid CS fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms).
• 3+ years in software development (C#/.NET).
• 1+ year in architecture/design of systems.
• 1+ year with AWS (Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, ECS/EKS).
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development, mentoring, and staff training.
• Define vision, design, and roadmap for POS and restaurant tech.
• Build and deploy software to transform performance, durability, cost and security.
• Advise executives on data management and best practices.
• Work in an agile environment with high-impact priorities.
