Leadout Capital in Mexico City is seeking a Principal Agentic Data Systems Engineer to architect a private ecosystem of autonomous agents that handle ETL, QA, governance, and analytics workflows. You will operate as a Team of One, guiding a hybrid human-agent workforce toward scalable, reliable data products.

You will design cognitive architectures, manage MCP servers to access Snowflake, Salesforce, AWS, and internal catalogs, and supervise agentic workflows from conception to deployment with

Qualifications

7+ years in data engineering, architecture, or data science.
Senior experience with Python and SQL.
Proven ability to accelerate output with generative AI.
Ability to act as Domain Data Officer with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical judgment to spot errors in agent outputs before production.

Responsibilities

Architect and maintain a fleet of 10+ autonomous agents for ETL, synthetic data, QA, and modeling.
Design multi-step reasoning and verification protocols for autonomous outputs.
Transform high-level requirements into production data products without mid-level management.
Governance as code for data pipelines and agent development.
Develop Model Context Protocol servers for secure data access to Snowflake, Salesforce, AWS, and internal catalogs.
