Preferred Partner Pricing Manager & AI Analyst | Mexico

Position Overview

This role integrates strategic pricing management with advanced AI predictive analytics to drive competitive advantage and operational excellence for Hitachi Vantara's products and services portfolio provided by our preferred alliance partners. You will execute global pricing strategies, manage list pricing and discount frameworks, and leverage artificial intelligence to analyze complex datasets, inform pricing decisions, and predict and optimize business outcomes.

Collaboration with Product Management, Finance, Procurement, Support, Sales, Deal Operations, and other cross‑functional teams is essential to support new product launches and ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute and maintain global pricing strategies and discount levels for third‑party products and services; maintain pricing in systems such as Oracle ERP, Salesforce CRM, and CPQ
  • Conduct competitive pricing analysis and support supplier negotiations
  • Advise, execute, and manage pricing across various monetization models, including Capex, Subscription, XaaS, and Utility
  • Manage pricing operations for new product launches, including market data analysis
  • Address special pricing requests and support deal escalation reviews
  • Serve as the primary pricing contact for supplier requests and maintain vendor price books
  • Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights for pricing and business decisions
  • Develop, implement, and maintain AI/ML models to solve business challenges, including operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to ensure data quality and effective AI integration and implementations
  • Present proposals, findings, and recommendations to technical and non‑technical audiences
  • As one of our team's citizen developers, help to lead the team's adoption and growing use of AI, machine learning, and pricing automation technologies
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field preferred.
  • Proven expertise in pricing strategies and AI/ML model development.
  • Experience with CPQ, Oracle, Salesforce, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
  • Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of the storage, compute, and/or networking industry is preferred; Hitachi Vantara storage products and third‑party SAN/NAS and Data Protection solutions is a bonus.
  • Minimal travel required (typically less than 10%).
  • Fluency in English.
