ABB in Guadalupe, Nuevo Leon, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance team. You will adjust tooling on presses for model changeovers, repair faults, and perform operational testing while operating various mechanical tools.

You will help maintain molds, dies, and dies’ setups, perform basic preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and quality in daily tasks. This is an on-site role reporting to Production Manager.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or technical degree in Machining/Tooling or related field.
• 1 year of professional experience related to the role.
• Knowledge of blueprint interpretation, precision measuring, bench fitting, press operation, die repair/maintenance, basic electrical knowledge, 5S and workplace organization.

Responsabilidades

• Complete daily work reports and verify availability of materials, tools and equipment.
• Monitor work progress and quality; report machine/tool/safety issues to supervisor.
• Repair and maintain molds, dies, inserts and other tooling; perform die setup/adjustments.
• Inspect tools after operations and conduct basic preventive maintenance.
• Support production during approval, startup, transfer or implementation of new or repaired tools/dies.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work area; manage tooling inventory; ensure QMS compliance.
• Participate in Kaizen, 5S, safety, and training activities to improve operations.
