Job summary

Flex is seeking an Intern in Aguascalientes to support production and electronic assembly, focusing on PCBA integration into modules. The role applies industrial engineering and Lean concepts to ensure safe, efficient operations while building basic SMT process knowledge.

You will assist in documentation, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to drive productivity and quality during entry-level manufacturing

Qualifications

• Participation in university projects focused on manufacturing, industrial engineering, electronics, or process improvement.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing projects.
• Basic understanding of assembly operations and production systems.

Responsibilities

• Support SMT, PTH, and Assembly manufacturing processes to ensure targets, quality, and safety.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, process flows, and manufacturing docs.
• Participate in Lean/ problem-solving to improve processes.
• Assist in NPI, process validation, and line readiness with engineering.
• Analyze process data and implement corrective actions under guidance.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain for daily ops.
• Assist in root cause analysis and cost-reduction projects.
