Ford Motor Company in Chihuahua, Mexico seeks a Powertrain Manufacturing Engineer to bridge design and production for powertrain installation programs. You will lead installation projects, manage equipment procurement, and drive cost and efficiency improvements across facilities.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in plant engineering, and advanced English for global reporting and collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related).
• Professional experience in building and facilities engineering (e.g. maintenance, plant engineering).
• Proficiency in mechanical installations and equipment procurement, MS Project.

Responsabilidades

• Lead cost studies and manage installation projects per Ford’s purchase policy.
• Oversee procurement, design, runoff, and delivery of new or re-tooled equipment.
• Drive investment efficiency by identifying opportunities for equipment reuse and track POs.
• Lead the technical evaluation and selection of suppliers and ensure on-time OEM documentation.
• Champion the Lessons Learned process and update global Powertrain Standards.
• Communicate in English for global reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
