Ford Motor Company in Mexico is seeking a Powertrain Manufacturing Engineer to bridge product design and production across ICE, transmission, axle, and electrification programs.

You will lead manufacturing feasibility studies, develop processes, manage equipment, and drive cost efficiency while ensuring quality and compliance with the Global Bill of Process. Collaborate with Product Engineering, Plant Operations, and suppliers to deliver world-class powertrain manufacturing.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering for powertrain systems.
• Experience with GPDS or new program launches.
• Proficiency with PFMEA and Control Plans.
• Strong English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead global powertrain programs (ICE, Electrification) through GPDS cycle.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes using Fail-Safe methodologies.
• Manage procurement, runoff, and delivery of new or re-tooled equipment.
• Drive investment efficiency and track program budgets and POs.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering and Plant Operations to resolve issues.
• Lead supplier evaluations and ensure timely OEM documentation.
• Document Lessons Learned and update global Powertrain standards.
