Siemens Energy in Mexico is looking for a Balance of Plant Engineer to support power plant control systems and digitalization efforts. You will interface with stakeholders to deliver an excellent customer experience, designing site-specific logic for HRSG/Boiler controls and assisting with commissioning and optimization projects.

The role blends back-office project work with hands-on testing, requiring a bachelor’s degree in electrical/control/electronics/mechanical and 3–8 years of relevant

Formación

• University bachelor's degree (electrical, control, electronics, mechanical or similar).
• 3-8 years of work experience in power generation or similar industry.
• Knowledge of Boiler and/or HRSG controls is required.
• Customer service oriented, self-managed and a team player with adaptability.
• Strong verbal and written communication with engineers, customers and vendors.
• Bilingual with professional working English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Design site-specific control logic from customer specs and diagrams, or reverse-engineer existing code.
• Perform plant integration and aid with loop checks and commissioning of control logic.
• Conduct back-office studies to evaluate startup optimization, heat rate and alarm reduction.
• Design, develop, and test engineering modifications of solutions.
• Perform and track changes for complex new software designs to meet requirements.
• Participate in customer meetings to understand needs and requirements.
