Siemens Mobility in Querétaro seeks an experienced Automation for Power Systems professional to join our growing team of Power Systems Engineers. You will support design and configuration for US-based projects, while performing FAT programming and switchgear testing on site.

You will coordinate test activities, prepare test routines, and contribute to process improvements in a multi-shift environment, requiring strong English communication and prior protection/automation experience.

Formación

Experience in Automation for Power Systems and substation automation.
3+ years of electrical experience in power systems protection and automation.
Intermediate knowledge of electrical schematic designs for HV/LV systems.
Proficiency with Siemens Automation and Protection products and related software.
Able to work rotating shifts and communicate in English.

Responsabilidades

Prepare documentation and programming settings for switchgear during FAT or Internal Programming Requests.
Coordinate readiness of switchgear with Test Field and FAT manager.
Support PA Engineers in Automation/Programming activities and testing on switchgear across shifts.
Report inefficiencies and suggest improvement ideas.
Prepare test set routines for protection applications (Omicron, Doble, etc.).
Perform protection & automation testing on switchgear during 1st/2nd shifts (3rd shift as needed).
