Tecnológico de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Behavioral and Experimental Economics to join the School of Social Sciences and Government. • PhD in Economics or a related field.
• Strong interest and potential to develop a high-impact theoretical and/or applied research agenda.
• Experience in attracting and managing research funding, preferably involving international projects or interdisciplinary collaborations.
• Ability to develop and manage research projects both independently and collaboratively.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Develop an independent multidisciplinary research agenda focused on behavioral and experimental economics.
• Identify and participate in national and international research funding opportunities and strategic collaborations with academic institutions, NGOs, private organizations, and other partners.
• Contribute to the development and publication of research in high-impact academic journals.
• Support the implementation, operation, and development of the new Behavioral and Experimental Economics Laboratory, including experimental design, data collection, and analysis.
• Participate in the mentoring and involvement of undergraduate and graduate students in research activities.
• Strengthen national and international academic networks through participation in conferences, seminars, and workshops.
• Collaborate in incorporating research findings into teaching and in developing innovative, evidence-based educational materials.
• Participate in scientific dissemination activities to expand the social impact of the research generated by ECSG.

What will you do?

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher in Behavioral and Experimental Economics to join the School of Social Sciences and Government (ECSG) at Tecnológico de Monterrey.

The position is designed for researchers interested in strengthening their academic careers by developing their own research agenda while actively contributing to strategic initiatives aimed at positioning the Department of Economics as a leading reference in Latin America in behavioral and experimental economics.

Your main challenges will be:

• Develop an independent and multidisciplinary research agenda focused on behavioral and experimental economics, collaborating with ECSG researchers on projects with regional and international impact.
• Identify and participate in national and international research funding opportunities and strategic collaborations with academic institutions, NGOs, private organizations, and other partners.
• Contribute to the development and publication of research in high-impact academic journals.

What are we looking for?

• PhD in Economics or a related field.
• Strong interest and potential to develop a high-impact theoretical and/or applied research agenda.
• Experience in attracting and managing research funding, preferably involving international projects or interdisciplinary collaborations.
• Ability to develop and manage research projects both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong interest in behavioral and experimental economics and willingness to actively contribute to ECSG's strategic initiatives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a dynamic and diverse academic environment.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience with oTree programming is desirable.

Location: Monterrey, Mexico.
