Tecnológico de Monterrey is seeking a Full-Time Professor in Sciences to contribute to the academic training within the School of Engineering and Sciences.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field, teaching experience, and proficiency in English. This role involves teaching, leading research projects, and participating in program accreditation activities.

Formación

• At least 5 years of teaching experience or postdoctoral experience.
• TOEFL score above 600 (or equivalent) and proven international experience.

Responsabilidades

• Teach 4 semester courses in IDM and INF programs.
• Lead research projects with students and publish articles.
• Secure funding through consulting projects.

1. What will you do?

As Full-Time Professor in Sciences, you will join one of the leading higher education institutions in Latin America, consistently ranked among the top universities worldwide and recognized for its academic excellence, educational innovation, and international outlook.

This position responds to the need for strengthening the academic training and disciplinary development of students in the IDM and INF programs, with the goal of strengthening the Sciences area within the School of Engineering and Sciences.

From this role, you will contribute to the development of highly competitive students, the strengthening of the academic faculty, and the institutional positioning of Tecnológico de Monterrey at both national and international levels, through an academic practice aligned with global standards of quality, impact, and relevance.

2. How will you do it?

• Teaching the equivalent of 4 semester courses in the IDM and INF programs, aligned with the Tec21 Educational Model, through rigorous and challenging learning experiences.
• Leading research projects with undergraduate and graduate students, and publishing scientific articles in high-impact international journals, contributing to the development of high-quality human capital.
• Securing funding through consulting projects with the private and public sectors, and advising graduate students in their research processes.
• Participating in the accreditation activities of the IDM and INF programs and collaborating strategically with the academic faculty to consolidate the School’s institutional positioning.

3. What are we looking for?

• Background as a mathematician, physicist, or engineer, with a PhD in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields.
• Degree obtained from a Top 100 university according to the QS World University Ranking.
• At least 5 years of teaching experience or postdoctoral experience (desirable).
• Proficiency in English with a TOEFL score above 600 (or equivalent) and demonstrated international experience.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Data Science tools.
