Sequoia Connect seeks a seasoned POS Onshore Lead to join the Site Reliability Engineering team. You will head onshore reliability for a sprawling retail POS ecosystem, overseeing incident response, real-time dashboards, and proactive health management.

The role requires 7–10+ years in IT operations or SRE, strong POS support experience, and leadership in an onshore/offshore delivery model. Remote option for LATAM/Canada with extensive cross-team collaboration.

Formación

• 7–10+ years in IT Operations, Production Support, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Proven POS production support experience in a retail or enterprise environment.
• Strong incident management and RCA experience in critical retail environments.
• Proficiency with Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), or equivalent ITSM platforms.
• Solid understanding of POS architecture, payment device integrations, store networks.

Responsabilidades

• Drive Tier-2 and Tier-3 operational support for enterprise retail POS software and hardware.
• Lead SRE response for critical store-impacting incidents—triage, escalation, RCA, remediation.
• Monitor Jira dashboards, alerting channels, and telemetry to track error budgets and backlogs.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across POS apps, payment devices, and store hardware.
• Develop runbooks and automation to reduce MTTR and prevent recurrence.
• Serve as the onshore bridge between Store Operations, Eng, offshore SRE, and vendors.
