We are seeking an experienced PLC Programmer with strong expertise in TIA Portal to design, develop, and maintain automation systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, system integration, troubleshooting, and commissioning of industrial automation projects. This role requires hands‑on experience with Siemens PLCs and a strong understanding of industrial communication protocols and control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC applications using Siemens TIA Portal (Totally Integrated Automation).
- Configure and program Siemens PLCs such as S7-1200 and S7-1500.
- Design and develop HMI screens using WinCC within TIA Portal.
- Perform system testing, debugging, and on‑site commissioning.
- Integrate PLC systems with SCADA, drives, sensors, and third‑party equipment.
- Develop control logic, interlocks, alarms, and safety functions.
- Support FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) activities.
- Prepare technical documentation including functional specifications, I/O lists, and operating manuals.
- Provide maintenance support and resolve automation‑related issues in production environments.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in PLC programming.
- Strong experience with Siemens TIA Portal.
- Experience with Siemens S7 PLCs (S7-1200 / S7-1500).
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP.
- Experience in HMI/SCADA development (WinCC preferred).
- Understanding of electrical schematics and control panel wiring.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for commissioning activities (if required).

- Experience in VFD integration and servo systems.
- Knowledge of safety PLCs and functional safety standards.
- Exposure to industrial robotics or motion control systems.
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, food processing, or process industries.
