Marelli, una empresa automotriz global con sede en México, busca un Plant Purchasing Specialist para unirse al equipo AL&S. Reporta al Purchasing Manager y trabajará en la planta Juárez, brindando soporte en la compra de materiales y servicios para la producción.

Se valorará experiencia en compras, dominio de SAP y Excel avanzado, y capacidad de comunicación en inglés para interactuar con proveedores internacionales. Se ofrece modelo de trabajo híbrido y oportunidad de crecimiento.

Formación

• Se requiere licenciatura o maestría en administración de empresas, logística, ingeniería o campo relacionado.
• Entre 3 y 5 años de experiencia en compras, preferentemente en plásticos, químicos o manufactura.
• Habilidades avanzadas de Excel y análisis de datos.
• Inglés fluido (requerido para comunicación con proveedores globales).
• Buen conocimiento de resinas plásticas y procesamiento de plásticos.

Responsabilidades

• Negociar precios, contratos y términos comerciales con proveedores locales e internacionales.
• Analizar estructuras de costos e identificar oportunidades de ahorro (reducción de costos y evitar).
• Colaborar con producción, calidad y logística para alinear necesidades de suministro.

About the Position

We are looking for a Plant Purchasing Specialist to join the Pursaching AL&S team, reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager.

This position is based at our office in Juarez, Mexico, Plant 1.

As the Plant Purchasing Specialist at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....

Your Responsibilities will be:

• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with local and international suppliers


• Analyze cost structures and identify savings opportunities (cost reduction & avoidance)


• Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to align supply needs

What Qualifications you will bring:

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field


• 3-5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in plastics, chemicals, or manufacturing


• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills


• Fluent English (required for global supplier communication)


• Strong understanding of plastic resins and processing
