Job summary

You will coach a team of buyers, manage plans and schedules, and partner with suppliers to secure favorable terms while ensuring compliance with company policies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members.

• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Manages, evaluates, and develops a team of purchasing staff to ensure the team's resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are met
• Responsible for plans, cost estimates, and schedules for integrating these needs into existing purchasing activities
• Manages a team of buyers to ensure they follow established procedures and policies
• Supervise and evaluate the organization's overall purchasing trends to potential bulk purchases
