Job summary

Sensata Technologies in Aguascalientes, Mexico is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead the purchasing function across the plant, standardizing processes and driving cost efficiencies. You will coach a team of buyers, manage plans and schedules, and partner with suppliers to secure favorable terms while ensuring compliance with company policies in a fast-paced environment.

As a leader, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement in procurement

Qualifications

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members.

The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for maintaining consistency in purchasing methodology and procedures across all buyers. They will identify and implement process improvement with a goal to minimize transactional costs associated with material delivery to the plant.
