Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Plant Manager in Saltillo, Mexico, to oversee all plant operations and ensure delivery of high-quality products on time. The role emphasizes cost efficiency, process improvement, staff development, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Candidate must have an engineering degree, 5–7 years in automotive leadership, and strong English skills. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within Aptiv.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required; postgraduate degree preferred.
• 5–7 years in a similar position within the automotive industry or related roles.
• Technical knowledge of assembly processes, quality, manufacturing and engineering.
• Background in electronics, supplying OEMs and Tier 1 customers.
• Knowledge of EHS procedures and relevant standards (IATF 16949, ISO 45001, CTPAT).

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant activities to meet business objectives cost-effectively.
• Improve operating systems, processes and policies to support mission.
• Manage budgets, financial planning and controls.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance across all areas.
• Lead and develop staff, promoting teamwork and training.
• Analyze production results and adjust strategy to meet metrics.
