Aptiv is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee the locality and drive objectives cost-effectively, boosting efficiency, quality, teamwork, and staff development. You will maximize resources—materials, machinery, and labor—to deliver high-quality products on time for clients.

Responsibilities include improving operations, managing budgets, payroll, and program budgets, and ensuring safety and quality metrics across production.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required; postgraduate degree preferred.
• 5–7 years in a similar role within the automotive industry or related roles.
• Knowledge of assembly processes, quality, manufacturing, and engineering.
• Background in electronics, supplying OEMs and Tier 1 customers.
• Knowledge of EHS procedures, IATF 16949, ISO 45001, and CTPAT training.
• Language: bilingual (advanced English)

Responsibilities

• Improve operating systems, processes and policies to support the mission of the organization.
• Oversee reports, management and information flow, business processes and planning.
• Manage and increase the effectiveness of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance).
• Play a role in long-term planning, including operational excellence initiatives.
• Oversee global financial management, planning systems and controls.
• Manage the budget in coordination with the Executive Director to achieve financial objectives.
• Develop budgets for individual programs and payroll management.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety protocols to prevent accidents.
• Verify area compliance with quality metrics to avoid customer complaints.
