North American Production Sharing de México, S.A. de C.V. in Tijuana is seeking an experienced Production Planner to manage short- and mid-term production plans and material sourcing to ensure availability and service levels.

The role requires ERP/MRP proficiency, strong English, and experience with Kinaxis and Rapid Response, coordinating with Purchasing, Logistics, and Quality teams to sustain supply continuity.

Formación

• Requires a relevant degree and 5–7 years in Production Planning, Materials, or Supply Chain.
• Advanced English proficiency is required.
• Strong knowledge of Kinaxis and Rapid Response is essential.
• Experience in inventory management, demand planning, sourcing, and purchasing.
• Solid understanding of MRP processes and production scheduling.
• Experience working with national and international suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute short- and medium-term production plans based on demand and capacity.
• Manage sourcing of raw and packaging materials to ensure continuity.
• Issue and follow up on purchase orders with delivery dates and supplier compliance.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels across materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Analyze requirements via ERP/MRP systems and adjust to meet service goals.
• Keep master data updated in planning systems (BOMs, lead times, sourcing params).
• Share consumption forecasts with suppliers to ensure timely availability.
• Coordinate with Production, Logistics, Quality, and Purchasing teams to execute the supply plan.
• Manage material obsolescence risks and minimize financial impact.
• Participate in new product launches and improvement projects related to planning and sourcing.

Objective : Responsible for planning production and sourcing materials to ensure product availability and compliance with the manufacturing plan, maintaining optimal inventory levels and high customer service standards. Manages procurement execution, supplier follow-up, demand analysis, and administration of MRP/ERP systems to ensure plant operational continuity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short- and medium-term production plans based on demand, forecasts, and manufacturing capacity.
• Manage the sourcing of raw materials and packaging materials to ensure production continuity.
• Issue and follow up on purchase orders, confirming delivery dates and supplier compliance.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Analyze requirements through ERP/MRP systems and make adjustments to ensure service and inventory objectives are met.
• Keep master data updated within planning systems, including bill of materials, lead times, and sourcing parameters.
• Share consumption forecasts with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Coordinate with Production, Logistics, Quality, and Purchasing teams to ensure effective execution of the supply plan.
• Manage material obsolescence risks and inventories, minimizing financial impacts to the business.
• Participate in new product launches and improvement projects related to planning, sourcing, and inventory management..

• Completed relevant degree.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in Production Planning, Materials, or Supply Chain within manufacturing environments.
• Advanced English.
• Advanced knowledge in Kinaxis and Rapid Response.
• Experience in inventory management, demand planning, sourcing, and purchasing.
• Solid knowledge of MRP processes, production scheduling, and material management.
• Experience working with national and international suppliers.
