OmniOn Power Inc. in Matamoros, Mexico, seeks a Planner Buyer to ensure smooth material flow and optimize inventory for production. You will manage POs for raw materials and sub-assemblies, negotiate delivery schedules, and work with engineering on product changes to prevent stockouts in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires 3–5 years in purchasing or supply chain, ERP experience, strong English, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across functions.

Formación

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Purchasing, Materials Planning, or Supply Chain roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in administration, engineering, or related field.
• Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience working with ERP systems and proficiency in digital tools and technology.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with strong initiative.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills when working with cross-functional and global teams.
• Self-motivated team player capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Advanced PC skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

The **Planner Buyer** is responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of materials to support production schedules while optimizing inventory levels. This role bridges production planning and procurement, executing material requirements planning (MRP) for high-volume bills of materials (BOMs) and managing supplier relationships to prevent stockouts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.This position reports directly to the **Planning & Fulfillment Manager** and is based at our **Matamoros, Tamaulipas** facility.## **Key Responsibilities**As **Planner Buyer**, you will:Procurement & Supplier Management:* Issue, manage, and track Purchase Orders (POs) for raw materials, electronics, and sub-assemblies.* Negotiate delivery schedules, monitor supplier performance metrics (OTIF - On-Time In-Full), and resolve issues related to delayed shipments, quality discrepancies, or invoicing errors.* Execute contingency plans and coordinate with alternative suppliers when primary supply chains are disrupted.Cross-Functional Collaboration:* Partner with Engineering on the phase-in/phase-out (PIPO) of components for new product introductions or engineering change orders (ECOs).* Coordinate with Quality and Receiving departments to ensure incoming materials meet specifications and are efficiently routed to the production floor or appropriate storage location.## **ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS:** OmniOn Power will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in *Mexico* for this opening.
