Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Production Scheduler to support building a feasible two-week production plan. The role involves coordinating with MPS, expediting shortages, and aligning with Purchasing and Inventory Control to ensure on-time shipments on the factory floor.

You will manage planning data, run planned orders, and maintain documentation, while adhering to safety guidelines and internal policies across the stockroom and manufacturing area.

Qualifications

• Advanced PC skills and ability to navigate safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and data interpretation.
• Ability to interpret various instructions and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling production activity in sync with MPS.
• Run planned orders in two-week buckets to detail boards to be built.
• Ensure Prep-Parts can keep up with the build schedule.
• Minimize changeovers and production schedule changes while preserving the production board integrity.
• Manage deviation/ECN/purge processes and maintain relevant handbooks.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Line Managers, Purchasing, and Inventory Control on shortages.
• Conduct readiness meetings on New Products and revisions five days prior to build.
• Route shipments to correct destinations and maintain Sales Orders when assigned.
• Maintain packout modules or equivalent systems and ensure routine upkeep.
• Adhere to safety, health, and security procedures; may perform other duties as assigned.
