What will you do?
As aPhotonics Specialist, your main challenge will be to provide support for the electrical, thermal, magnetic, and functional characterization of materials and devices using advanced measurement platforms.
How will you do it?
Your main responsibilities will include:
Operate and maintain physical-property characterization equipment, with a focus on, but not limited to, the following: PPMS, Parameter Analyzer, and Probe Station.
Train students, researchers, faculty, industry partners, and external users in the use of laboratory equipment and services.
Assist with sample preparation, experimental planning, image acquisition, and data interpretation.
Develop and maintain operating procedures, service records, and technical documentation.
Coordinate preventive maintenance, consumables management, and interactions with vendors.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of microscopy services and laboratory capabilities.
If you have a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Nanotechnology, Engineering, or a related discipline (graduate studies are desirable), along with 1 to 3 years of experience working in laboratories, instrumentation, testing, or research, we want to hear from you.Experience with scientific instrumentation is desirable. We are also looking for candidates with analytical and critical-thinking skills, a strong service-oriented mindset, and English proficiency (minimum B2 level).We are looking for you—
