As an Electron Microscopy Specialist, your main challenge will be to support the advanced characterization of materials through the operation, maintenance, and optimization of electron microscopy and microanalysis equipment, as well as user training.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Operate and maintain electron microscopy instrumentation and associated analytical systems.
2. User support and training
Train students, researchers, faculty members, industry partners, and external users in the use of laboratory equipment and services.
3. Sample preparation and analysis
Provide support with sample preparation, experimental planning, image acquisition, and data interpretation.
4. Documentation and quality control
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, service records, and technical documentation.
5. Equipment maintenance
Coordinate preventive maintenance, consumables management, and interactions with suppliers.
6. Facility development
Contribute to the continuous improvement of microscopy services and laboratory capabilities.
We are looking for candidates with a completed bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Nanotechnology, Engineering, or a related field. Graduate studies are preferred.
You should have one to three years of experience working in laboratories, instrumentation, testing, or research. Experience operating scientific instrumentation is desirable.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, a service-oriented mindset, and proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level.
