You will identify novel drug targets, design therapeutic strategies, and advance candidates through preclinical development with a strong scientific background. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a life science field, 5+ years in drug discovery, and hands-on pharmacology experience

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related life sciences required.
• Minimum 5 years of drug discovery experience in pharma/biotech.
• Experience designing pharmacology studies (in vitro/in vivo) and interpreting data.
• Strong written and verbal communication, ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute in vitro and in vivo pharmacology studies to evaluate drug efficacy and safety.
• Identify and validate novel drug targets for various therapeutic areas.
• Develop and optimize assays for screening compounds and assessing activity.
• Characterize pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of drug candidates.
• Collaborate with medicinal chemists to optimize lead compounds.
