IFF is seeking a Cost Analyst to partner with Plant Managers, providing insights into operational performance and cost efficiency in a hybrid role based in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City.

Key responsibilities include analyzing cost development, coordinating annual plant budgeting, and leading monthly variance forecasting with plant leadership. Strong costing templates governance and ERP familiarity are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in cost analysis or financial planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a financial partner to Plant Managers, providing insights into operational performance and cost efficiency.
• Analyze product cost development, unit cost trends, and productivity metrics to support decision-making.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process at the plant level, focusing on cost, capacity, and product impact.
• Maintain and improve standard costing templates, including governance of material master data.
• Lead monthly production cost variance forecasting in collaboration with plant leadership.
• Prepare monthly plant reports using global tools and plant-specific analysis.
• Support Integrated Operations initiatives and help plants meet productivity targets.
• Participate in global projects related to process and IT improvements within the Plant Cost Analysis organization.

Where You'll Make a Difference

• Coordinate the annual budgeting process at the plant level, focusing on cost, capacity, and product impact.


• Maintain and improve standard costing templates, including governance of material master data.


• Lead monthly production cost variance forecasting in collaboration with plant leadership.


• Ensure strong Standard Costing template with Governance of Material Master etc. Coordinate monthly production cost variance forecast by working closely with the Plant Manager and local leadership.


• Prepare monthly plant reports using global tools and plant-specific analysis.


• Support Integrated Operations initiatives and help plants meet productivity targets.


• Participate in global projects related to process and IT improvements within the Plant Cost Analysis organization.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.


• More than 3 years of relevant experience in cost analysis or financial planning within a manufacturing environment.


• Intermediate English profiency, both written and spoken.


• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.


• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.


• Familiarity with standard costing and ERP systems (e.g., SAP ).


• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with plant leadership.


• Understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements.


• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
