IFF is seeking a Procurement Leader in Mexico City (Polanco/Azcapotzalco) with a hybrid work model. You will drive sourcing strategies for direct materials and packaging, develop supplier portfolios, and negotiate contracts to support globalization and cost efficiency.

You will partner with Quality, Operations and cross-functional teams to onboard suppliers, monitor performance, and mitigate supply risks while delivering market insights and continuous improvement across the value chain.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Supply Chain.
• Experience developing sourcing strategies for direct materials and packaging.
• Advanced English proficiency; global collaboration.
• Experience leading negotiations and contract management.
• Strong cost analysis and cash flow understanding.

Where You'll Make a Difference

• Lead sourcing strategies for direct raw materials and packaging categories (e.g., extracts, enzymes, botanicals, corrugated packaging, medicine bottles, lids, and caps) within the Health & Biosciences business.
• Develop and manage supplier strategies, supplier portfolios and sourcing initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence.
• Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, payment terms, contracts and supplier agreements.
• Serve as the primary commercial contact for suppliers, fostering strong relationships and alignment with business objectives.
• Manage sourcing events, tenders and bidding processes, providing commercial analysis and supplier recommendations.
• Identify, qualify and onboard new suppliers in partnership with Quality, Operations and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Monitor supplier performance, drive corrective action plans and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve supply challenges, mitigate risks and ensure supply continuity.
• Gather and communicate market intelligence, including pricing trends, cost drivers, supply risks and emerging opportunities.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain or a related function.
• Experience developing sourcing strategies for direct raw materials and packaging categories .
• Advanced English profiency, with the ability to work effectively in a global environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading supplier negotiations, contract management and sourcing projects.
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts, cost analysis, budgeting, payment terms and cash flow impact.
• Experience managing supplier relationships, supplier performance and vendor development activities.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience within the Health & Biosciences , food ingredients, biotechnology or manufacturing industries.
• Experience working with Sage ERP system.
• Knowledge of supplier relationship management methodologies and strategic procurement best practices.
