Job summary

Go Lean Health is seeking a Patient Care Communications Specialist for its chiropractic clinic. You will be the first point of contact with patients, delivering a warm, calm, professional, and trustworthy experience across phone, text, email, and scheduling workflows.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral accent and strong written communication for patient messages.
• Experience as a Virtual Medical Assistant, Medical Receptionist, Patient Communication Specialist, Front Desk Coordinator, or similar healthcare support role.
• Ability to handle high call volume in a fast-paced clinic environment with empathy and sound judgment.
• Must own a Mac OS device (MacBook, iMac, or Mac mini) for client requirements.
• Reliable high-speed wired internet (LAN) is required.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume inbound patient calls professionally and promptly.
• Respond to texts, voicemails, emails, and fax-related messages in a timely and accurate manner.
• Schedule new patient appointments and manage intake information; use MacPractice to schedule, confirm, cancel, and reschedule.
• Prioritize new inquiries and referrals before routine rescheduling requests.
• Conduct follow-up and reactivation outreach to inactive or lapsed patients and convert inquiries to bookings.
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling notes; coordinate with in-office staff to keep schedules full.
• De-escalate patient concerns related to scheduling, billing, and insurance; protect privacy per HIPAA.
• Support missed-call follow-up workflows and communications improvements inside Weave.
• Schedule coverage and ensure provider schedules are organized.
