Marelli is seeking a Packaging Engineer to join the Logistics-Lighting team in Juarez, Chihuahua. You will design, validate, and optimize packaging for products, while coordinating with manufacturing, QA, and supply chain to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Packaging Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in packaging engineering, logistics, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with warehousing, inventory control, shipping, and logistics processes.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and validate packaging solutions for new and existing products.
• Create and maintain packaging specifications, standards, and work instructions.
• Coordinate packaging, transportation, and storage validation testing; identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Manage returnable and expendable packaging inventories.
• Support logistics operations, including shipping, warehousing, and transportation activities.
• Analyze and optimize material flow, storage utilization, and distribution processes.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on packaging efficiency and logistics performance.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards.
