Amentum seeks a Vehicle Operator to support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. You will operate government vehicles and ground support equipment for air terminal and flight line operations, transporting passengers and cargo while following safety regulations.

Must have 1–3 years in relevant environments, possess a valid passport, and read/speak English to meet contract requirements. OCONUS deployment and visa requirements apply.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years operating vehicles in transportation, logistics, air terminal, or aviation support.
• Knowledge of vehicle operation, traffic laws, and airfield procedures.
• Ability to operate around aircraft in high-traffic environments.
• Passport valid for at least 1 year; international travel capability.
• Ability to obtain visas per US guidance; meet medical requirements.
• Must read/speak English to perform contract duties.

Responsabilidades

• Operate government vehicles and ground support equipment for air terminal operations.
• Safely transport passengers, cargo, baggage, mail, and equipment between facilities.
• Perform pre-, during, and post-operational vehicle inspections.
• Follow airfield driving procedures and flight line safety rules.
• Maintain situational awareness around aircraft and hazards.
• Assist with cargo/baggage loading and movement as directed.
• Keep assigned vehicles clean, safe, and operational.
• Report deficiencies, accidents, and safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain vehicle inspection records and transportation logs.
• Support changing operational priorities and schedules.
• Provide courteous service to passengers, aircrews, and partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned consistent with the role.
