Mercedes-Benz AG in Mexico City seeks a supply chain analyst to manage passenger car orders in line with the production plan and product strategy. You will coordinate order creation across systems, monitor end-to-end flow, and develop reports to improve demand planning.

Collaboration with the Vehicle ordering committee is required to analyze insights and recommendations. Required 2 years in a similar role, degrees in Business Admin/Engineering, and advanced Excel, ERP, and Power BI skills.

Formación

  • Education: Bachelor of Business Administration or Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
  • 2+ years of previous experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced Excel skills, ERP systems and Power BI knowledge.
  • Experience dealing with dealer or distributor networks.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry and sales processes.

Responsabilidades

  • Fulfil production plan orders in line with product strategy, mix and seasonality.
  • Create orders in different systems, ensuring end-to-end order flow and minimizing mismatches (IDR handling).
  • Follow up E2E ordering process up to shipment.
  • Provide and create demand and orders reports to improve demand planning processes.
  • Participate in Vehicle ordering committee and analyze insights/feedback.

Objective:

Ensure the execution and management of Mexico’s Passenger Cars (for delimited carlines)orders according to the production plan, product strategy, mix and seasonality in different systems. Identify and assess the risk of stock-outs that may affect the different production plans. Coordinate and monitor the end-to-end order flow within the supply chain.

Day to day (main tasks):

  • Responsible for the fulfilment of production plan orders in accordance with product strategy, mix and seasonality.
  • Ensure the creation of orders in the different systems, avoiding mismatches (IDR handling). Follow up E2E ordering process up to shipment.
  • Provide and create demand & orders reports that provide insights for improving demand planning processes.
  • Participate in the preparation and coordination of Vehicle ordering committee and analyze insights/feedback.

Profile:

  • Education: Bachelor of Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or similar.
  • Previous experience: 2 years in a similar position.
  • Additional Qualifications: Advanced Excel, knowledge of ERP systems and power BI. Experience dealing with dealer or distributor networks. Knowledge about automotive industry and sales processes.
  • Location: CDMX
  • Local contract applies.
  • Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
