Job summary

Steelcase Monterrey is seeking an Order Management Intern to join the Direct Sell Order Fulfillment Department. This internship provides hands-on experience in processing and verifying purchase orders and coordinating with sales and manufacturing.

You will organize and enter orders, identify critical information, handle pricing and invoicing tasks, and communicate with dealers and customer service to resolve discrepancies while supporting multi-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a bachelor's degree in International Business, Commerce or related.
• To graduate at least by December 2027 or later.
• Full-time availability (7am-4pm).

Responsibilities

• Organize, analyzes, researches and proofreads internal purchase orders.
• Identify order conditions for critical information required by manufacturing to meet deadlines.
• Support sales and product development efforts by accurately entering purchase orders.
• Ensure orders are acknowledged within Sales Service throughput measures and routing steps to the correct work area.
• Research order discrepancies pertaining to schedule request, pricing, shipping information and service part order information.
• Communicate with dealers and customer service representatives regarding simple to complex change requests and discrepancies.
• Communicate with various levels of internal and external customers.
• Perform direct pricing and invoicing functions.
• Release commissions to Steelcase dealers.

Who You Are
