Job summary

Steelcase Monterrey is seeking an Order Management Intern to join the Direct Sell Order Fulfillment Department. You will organize and analyze internal purchase orders, identify critical information for manufacturing deadlines, and accurately enter orders to support sales and product development.

As an intern, you will communicate with dealers and customer service, resolve discrepancies, and participate in pricing, invoicing, and commission releases.

Qualifications

• Advanced written and oral English (100%).
• Currently studying a bachelor's degree in International Business, Commerce or related.
• Full-time availability (7am–4pm).
• To graduate at least in December 2027 or later.

Responsibilities

• Organize, analyze, research and proofread internal purchase orders.
• Identify order conditions for information required by manufacturing to meet deadlines.
• Enter purchase orders accurately to support sales and product development.
• Ensure orders are acknowledged within Sales Service measures by routing to the proper work area.
• Research order discrepancies related to schedule, pricing, shipping information, and service part orders.
• Communicate with dealers and customer service regarding changes and discrepancies.
• Communicate with various internal and external customers at different levels.
• Perform direct pricing and invoicing functions.
• Release commissions to Steelcase dealers.

• Research order discrepancies pertaining to schedule request, pricing, shipping information and service part order information.
• Communicate with dealers and customer service representatives regarding simple to complex change requests and discrepancies.
• Communicate with various levels of internal and external customers.
• Perform direct pricing and invoicing functions.
• Release commissions to Steelcase dealers.
