Job summary

Steelcase Monterrey is seeking an Order Management Intern to join the Direct Sell Order Fulfillment Department. The role involves organizing and proofreading internal purchase orders, identifying critical information for manufacturing deadlines, and supporting sales by accurately entering orders.

Key requirements include advanced English, pursuing a bachelor's degree in International Business or related field, full-time availability 7am–4pm, and graduation planned for December 2027 or later.

Qualifications

• Advanced written and oral English (100%)
• Currently studying a bachelor's degree on International Business, Commerce or related.
• Full time availability (7am-4pm)
• To graduate at least on December 2027 or later.

Responsibilities

• Organize, analyzes, researches and proofreads internal purchase orders.
• Identify order conditions for critical information required by manufacturing to meet deadlines.
• Support sales and product development efforts by accurately entering purchase orders.
• Ensure orders are acknowledged within Sales Service throughput measures by accurately identifying the necessary steps needed to complete orders and routing them to the appropriate work area.
• Research order discrepancies pertaining to schedule, pricing, shipping information and service part order information.
• Communicate with dealers and customer service representatives regarding simple to complex change requests and discrepancies.
• Communicate with various levels of internal and external customers.
• Perform direct pricing and invoicing functions.
• Release commissions to Steelcase dealers.
