Birlasoft is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst for Manufacturing and SCM in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. The role focuses on leading design, implementation, and optimization of planning/execution models across Oracle E-Business Suite and SAP IBP platforms.

The candidate should have 15+ years in manufacturing, maintenance, and SCM processes, with a strong engineering background and proven success delivering tech-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of SCM and manufacturing consulting experience.
• Hands-on implementation of planning and execution models.
• Experience with Oracle EBS R12 and SAP IBP environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and deployment of supply chain planning and manufacturing models.
• Conduct fit-gap analyses to align systems with business needs.
• Configure Oracle EBS modules including ASCP , DRP, GOP, IO, INV, CST, WIP, BOM, ENG, EAM.
• Configure SAP IBP modules including Demand, Inventory, S&OP, and S&OP Planning.
• Train users and provide post go-live support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity.
• Develop and execute SCM testing scenarios and provide documentation.

Job Summary

Business Analyst with deep expertise in Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management (SCM) to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of planning and execution models across Oracle E-Business Suite and SAP IBP platforms. The ideal candidate will bring over 15 years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing, maintenance, and supply chain processes, with a strong engineering background and proven success in delivering business‑aligned technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and deployment of supply chain planning and manufacturing execution models.
• Conduct Fit‑Gap analysis to align system capabilities with business requirements.
• Configure and support Oracle EBS modules including ASCP, DRP, GOP, IO, INV, CST, WIP, BOM, ENG, EAM.
• Configure and support SAP IBP modules including Demand, Inventory, Supply & Response, and Sales & Operations Planning.
• Train super/master users and provide post go‑live support.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data integrity and model readiness.
• Develop and execute testing scenarios for SCM and manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical documentation and executive summaries for operational reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.
• Certifications in Oracle Supply Chain Planning Cloud, ASCP Expert, and SAP IBP for Supply Chain.
• Certification in APICS – CPIM and CSCP would be recommended
• 15+ years of experience in SCM and manufacturing consulting roles.
• Proven experience with Oracle EBS R12 and SAP IBP environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish (native) and English (80% proficiency).

Preferred Experience

• Industry exposure in architectural coatings, housing development, sensors, electrical motors, heavy machinery, newspaper manufacturing, and federal maintenance operations.
• Experience working with multinational clients and multi‑country stakeholders
