Valeo is seeking an experienced Engineering Disciplines Manager to oversee budget execution, QCD performance, and technical reviews within a major project. You will lead discipline designers, drive design efficiency, and ensure seamless integration with R&D and the broader project timeline.
You will mentor team members, coordinate with the Engineering Manager and Discipline Team Leader, and uphold quality control and continuous improvement across the program.

Responsible for Project Budget execution: Execute the budget within the assigned project, ensuring alignment with the overall project budget and Discipline budget guidelines provided by the Engineering Manager of the entity.
Responsible for Project Discipline QCD Management: Lead the team responsible for Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance of the discipline within the assigned project, adhering to standardized methodologies, project dashboard and KPIs defined by the Group/Division and followed by the Engineering Manager and Discipline Team Leader.
Responsible for Technical Review execution and corrective action plan within the project.
Drive design solutions & reuse within the assigned project.
Support [Discipline Name] Discipline QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control): Identify discipline issues in standard, method, tools, test means for ensuring rapid resolution of technical issues and continuous improvement in design execution
Responsible for Project QRQC, ensuring management of the correction of major technical issues with the support of the entity engineering manager and the relevant Experts.
Support Competency Development of the design team within the project.
Execute Discipline Efficiency Plan within the assigned project.
Collaborate with Discipline Engineering Manager and Discipline Team Leader: Maintain regular communication and alignment with the Discipline Engineering Manager and Discipline Team Leader on budget performance, design execution, quality control, and efficiency initiatives.
Collaborate with R&D Technical Project Leader: Work closely with the R&D Technical Project Leader to ensure seamless integration of the design within the overall project plan, timeline, and technical specifications.
Lead and Mentor Discipline Designers: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to Discipline Designers working on the project, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
