Valeo is seeking an Optic Design Leader in Querétaro to oversee discipline management, budget execution, and design delivery. You will lead a team, drive QCD performance, perform technical reviews, and mentor designers to ensure high-quality, cost-efficient solutions aligned with program milestones.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Engineering Manager and R&D teams to seamlessly integrate designs within the overall project plan and timeline while maintaining engineering discipline

Responsabilidades

• Budget execution within the assigned project and alignment with Discipline budget guidelines.
• Lead the team responsible for Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance within the project.
• Perform Technical Review execution and corrective action plans.
• Drive design solutions and reuse within the project.
• Support Discipline QRQC to identify issues and drive rapid resolution.
• Collaborate with Engineering Manager and Discipline Team Leader on budget, design execution, quality control, and efficiency initiatives.
• Mentor Discipline Designers and foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
