Valeo Mexico Tech Center, located in Querétaro, seeks a disciplined Engineering Disciplines Engineer with 2-3 years in automotive engineering. You will work on mechanical disciplines, solve technical problems, and contribute to project execution while maintaining rigorous documentation and collaboration with a diverse team.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, continuous learning, and effective communication within cross-functional teams to achieve design and manufacturing goals.

Formación

• 2-3 years of experience in Discipline Engineering activities in automotive or relevant industries.
• Engineering Degree.
• Foundational technical knowledge within the Discipline.
• Ability to apply engineering principles and practices to solve technical problems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and develop technical expertise.
• Basic understanding of design standards and methodologies.
• Familiarity with digital tools and software relevant to the Discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Execute technical solutions for engineering tasks within defined projects, focusing on Newness levels 1-2 (fully applied or design based on existing rules).
• Prepare clear and concise technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and presentations, to effectively communicate work.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project objectives are met and deliverables are of high quality.

Technical Documentation: Prepare clear and concise technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and presentations, to effectively communicate their work.. Competencies: Technical Development: Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge within the Discipline, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements. Technical Coaching: Provide technical guidance and support to Discipline Junior Engineers, fostering their onboarding and skill development. Design Standard Application: Apply existing design standards effectively in their work, ensuring alignment with Valeo's guidelines and best practices. Efficiency: Digitalization Roadmap Adoption: Actively adopt and utilize digital tools and processes outlined in the Discipline's Digitalization Roadmap to enhance efficiency and productivity. Continuous Improvement Contribution: Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for optimization within their scope of work and suggesting improvements to existing processes. Innovation: Innovative Thinking: Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and contribute innovative ideas to enhance existing solutions or develop new approaches. Intellectual Property Awareness: Develop an understanding of intellectual property protection and contribute to the identification of potentially patentable inventions. Collaboration and Influence: Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders within the team, ensuring clear and concise information exchange. Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other engineers and team members to achieve project objectives and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Professional Experience

2-3 years of experience in Discipline Engineering activities in automotive or relevant industries.
Engineering Degree
