Baxter International Inc. in Monterrey, Mexico is seeking a Specialist Engineer, OPEX to advance operational excellence across the site.

You will plan, direct, and coach others in continuous improvement methods to deliver measurable financial and performance gains. The role requires deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and problem-solving techniques, plus experience leading transformational projects, capacity analysis, line balancing, and waste reduction.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or related.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or Continuous Improvement.
• Experience leading operational management systems and Kaizen/project management.
• Lean Manufacturing certification (Lean or Six Sigma).
• Mastery of Lean principles (VSM, SWS, SMED, Visual Management, Kaizen).
• Experience designing and maturing Lean/GPS management systems.
• Mastery of problem-solving methodologies.
• Industrial Engineering applications: capacity, line balancing, efficiency, resources, flow.

Responsabilidades

• Support the site’s Continuous Improvement strategy with aligned objectives and KPIs.
• Lead site transformation projects to improve efficiency, quality, service and costs.
• Own the plant’s savings program and sustain initiatives with measurable impact.
• Develop GPS maturity by implementing standards and regular evaluations.
• Coordinate site assessments and audits of GPS hardware/software components.
• Apply Lean methods to optimize capacity, productivity, and waste reduction.
• Coach and mentor OPEX engineers on strategic projects.
