A.P. Moller-Maersk is seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to lead day-to-day execution in a large-scale 3PL warehouse operation (approximately 30,000 m²), focusing on safety, service, quality, productivity, and cost.

You will manage inbound/outbound, inventory, labor and capacity planning, partner with the customer to drive priorities, and lead Supervisors and frontline teams to deliver outstanding performance and continuous improvement.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience managing warehouse or distribution center operations within a 3PL environment.
• Experience leading Supervisors and large frontline teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate to advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations for a 3PL customer account, ensuring safety and cost targets.
• Lead Supervisors and frontline teams on the warehouse floor.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage inbound, outbound, inventory, productivity, labor, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with the customer to align on priorities and resolve issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity, quality, and cost optimization.
• Support workforce planning and resource allocation.
• Translate performance data into actionable improvements.
• Ensure consistency and discipline across processes and teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations for a 3PL customer account , ensuring performance across safety, service, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Lead and develop Supervisors and operational teams , maintaining a strong presence on the warehouse floor and ensuring effective execution of daily plans.
• Monitor operational KPIs and SLAs, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to achieve customer and business targets.
• Manage inbound, outbound, inventory, productivity, labor allocation, and capacity planning according to daily operational requirements and volume fluctuations.
• Partner closely with the customer to understand operational priorities, manage expectations, and ensure timely resolution of service issues and operational exceptions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, process efficiency, and cost optimization .
• Support workforce planning and ensure resources are effectively allocated according to volumes, capacity, and operational priorities.
• Translate performance data and customer requirements into clear operational actions and improvement plans .
• Support the effective management of a large-scale and complex warehouse operation , ensuring consistency and operational discipline across processes and teams.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience managing warehouse or distribution center operations within a 3PL environment.
• Proven experience managing large-scale and complex warehouse operations , ideally within facilities of significant size and high operational volume.
• Hands‑on experience managing customer accounts within apparel, fashion, or footwear environments.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, inventory management, productivity, workforce planning, and capacity management.
• Experience leading Supervisors and large frontline operational teams in fast‑paced warehouse environments.
• Strong customer management skills, with experience interacting directly with 3PL customers and managing operational KPIs and SLAs .
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to turn operational data into actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to balance day‑to‑day operational execution with a strategic and continuous improvement mindset .
• Intermediate to advanced English.
