Flex Ltd in Guadalajara (North Campus) is seeking a Production Manager to lead the production floor, supervise supervisors, and drive operational excellence across processes.

You will partner with engineering, supply chain, and management to optimize production techniques, forecast costs, and ensure on-time delivery, with availability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience as Operation Manager.
• Intermediate English.
• Knowledge of production control systems (Serials, flows, traceability).
• Experience in electronic manufacturing.
• Availability of schedule.
• People management.
• Knowledge of all electronics assembly processes and interaction with engineering support areas.
• Ability to present information to managers, clients, customers and the public.

Responsibilities

• Guides department activities to support design of new products, modify existing designs, improve production techniques and assist with test procedures.
• Collaborates with management, production and marketing staff to resolve manufacturing feasibility, cost effectiveness and customer demand for new and existing products.
• Forecasts operating costs of the department and directs preparation of budget requests.
• Develops the strategic plan and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the function with team and management.
• Reviews and establishes material, equipment and manpower resource requirements.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply.
• Maintains relationships with executives and major customers.
