Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Mexicali is seeking a Continuous Improvement/OPEX professional to lead Lean initiatives across the Value Stream. You will analyze data and drive measurable improvements, mapping current processes to future state using Lean methods.

You will coordinate cross-functional CI projects, mentor teams, and partner with local and corporate CI to embed an integrated systems CI mindset and training. Excellent English required.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools in both shop floor and functional environments.
• Experience with advanced project management practices and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Minitab).

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and trends of the Value Stream/Business Unit to identify improvement opportunities.
• Create and implement plans to map current state to future state using lean techniques.
• Coordinate continuous improvement tasks and projects within the Value Stream/Business Unit.
• Provide PM support across intake, initiation, planning, execution, transition and closure.
• Mentor and champion continuous improvement methodologies across the department.
• Collaborate with local and Corporate Continuous Improvement teams.
• Coordinate CI training and policy deployment activities with HR, EHS & Quality.
• Lead progress meetings and 30-60-90 day reviews to ensure delivery.
• Maintain strong English proficiency in written and spoken form.
