Job summary

Amex GBT seeks a Bilingual Travel Counselor to join our highly skilled remote team, delivering top-tier service to corporate clients. This full-time onsite role in Ciudad Juárez requires travel knowledge, strong GDS skills, and exceptional English communication.

You will advise on domestic and international travel, research options, and ensure policy compliance while supporting traveler needs with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Travel Counselor.
• Advanced English, both written and verbal.
• Background in business/corporate or leisure travel and/or airline reservations.
• Demonstrate integrity and protect traveler information.
• Able to resolve customer issues quickly and independently, or escalate when needed.
• Teamwork and openness to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate customers (individuals and groups).
• Research travel options and anticipate traveler needs to upsell services.
• Book domestic and international business travel across air, rail, and accommodations.
• Use GDS systems (Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, Amadeus); training may be provided.
• Ensure compliance with travel policies, supplier policies, and regulations.
• Provide courteous service and respond to special requests over the phone.
• Collaborate with team to coach and improve service levels.
