Job summary

KEMET de México, part of the YAGEO Group, is seeking a Production Planner for our Guadalupe, NL plant. This on-site role develops and maintains production plans, aligning customer demand with manufacturing capacity to ensure on-time execution.

The position requires advanced English, data analysis skills, and experience in KPI management. You will collaborate with Material Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Customer Service to optimize throughput and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in production planner or similar role in manufacturing.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the front-end production plan based on customer demand and capacity.
• Balance production loading across front-end processes to maximize equipment utilization.
• Monitor work-in-process (WIP) and ensure smooth material flow through front-end operations.
• Coordinate with Material Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, and customer Service to meet production priorities.
• Analyze capacity constraints and recommend recovery or optimization plans.
• Monitor production performance, schedule adherence, and on-time completion of front-end operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cycle time, throughput, and planning accuracy.
