PPG in Tepexpan, Mexico, is seeking a Production Lead to manage materials, equipment, and people to meet the production schedule and customer needs. You will optimize resources through an operational excellence model while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You will report to the production manager at our plant in Tepexpan and drive continuous improvement by coordinating processes, payroll-related tasks, and staff development to maintain a healthy and productive work environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, industrial engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the chemical industry.
• Proficiency in English at an intermediate level.

Responsabilidades

• Manage production resources to meet the production schedule, satisfy customer needs, maintain process flow, eliminate waste, and identify process requirements.
• Promote work based on standards, systems, and continuous improvement, and seek process optimization to ensure compliance with the indicators defined by production management.
• Develop short- and medium-term operational strategies to ensure fulfillment of demand for products, special orders, and projects according to customer needs.
• Manage human resources by following the vacation schedule, training program, production schedule, and incident resolution, maintaining a healthy and cordial work environment.
• Ensure payroll, hiring, and all other personnel processes are carried out following internal rules and procedures.
• Comply with safety procedures in the production area to guarantee the well-being of all team members, as well as the protection of facilities and equipment.
