Job summary

Sensient Technologies is seeking an Innovation Scientist to develop innovative color solutions for the food industry. You will turn ideas into new formulations and help bring products from the lab to the market.

You will work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and create solutions that meet their needs. As a key team member, you will push boundaries, innovate, and work onsite five days per week with opportunities for growth and comprehensive

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific field.
Three to four years of experience in formulation, product development, or new product development.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize color formulations based on customer needs and regulatory requirements.
Lead application and product development projects with lab testing, stability studies, and method development.
Support scale-up and production of new color products from lab to commercialization.
Collaborate with technical, marketing, manufacturing, and quality teams to address challenges.
Identify opportunities for new products and improvements based on market info and customer needs.
Communicate findings clearly to customers and internal stakeholders and mentor team members.
Travel as needed, including international travel, and work independently or in a team.
